Gemma Mazzolin (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Gemma. I’m a Leo, so you would think that talking about myself would be a breeze but you see, my journey to this point wasn’t at all a straight shot to design-dom.

 

I discovered my passion for design quite by accident. I always thought you needed to get a “real job”, and I never thought, being a creative at heart, that my genuine interests fit into that mold. So, after high school I studied to be an administrative assistant I committed myself to having a desk job.

 

Once there I was always drawn to the more creative desktop publishing side of things, and so happy to see how little tweaks affected people I interacted with. From certificates showing the completion of a course, to a well laid out bathroom sign, design is so important. So, in 2018, I dove into the field of graphic design head first. 

The experience of teaching myself about this field in concert with my formal education has been both challenging and extremely rewarding. I hope you'll write this next chapter of my career with me and help me do what I've always dreamed of - create!
